Title bar :
The title bar is top topmost part of a computer window that shows the name of the program and whether it is being used at that time. There are three buttons on the right side of the title bar Minimize, Restore Down, and Close Button.
Menu bar :
A horizontal menu that appears on top of a window. It has various functions or instructions to perform on text or documents.
Scroll bar :
It is a long, thin strip at the side of a computer window, used for moving its contents up, down, or across. There are two types of scroll bar:- Horizontal scroll bar and Vertical scroll bar.
Status bar :
A status bar is an area at the bottom of a primary window that displays information about the current window’s state (such as what is being viewed and how), background tasks (such as printing, scanning, and formatting), or other contextual information (such as selection and keyboard state).
FILE
New – To initialize a new document.
Open – Allows you to open an existing document.
Save – Allows you to save a named document.
Save As – This allows you to save your document under a new name or different format.
Page Setup – Allows the presentation of your document to be manipulated.
Print – Enables you to print your document on a printer attached to your computer.
Exit – You can leave NotePad with or without saving your document, be careful.
EDIT
Undo – Allow you to go in reverse.
Cut – Allow you to cut the selected text.
Copy – Allow you to copy the selected text.
Paste – Allow you to paste cut and copied text.
Delete – Removes either single characters or whole words and paragraphs.
Find – Allows you to find any word or character in a document.
Find Next – It will find the next word character.
Replace – Enables you to replace words or phrases in your document.
Go To – Allows you to go on any line.
Select All – Allows you to select all text in the document.
Time/Date – Insert the current date and time.
FORMAT
Word Wrapped – If checked the NotePad Editor will automatically change lines after approximately 128 characters, it will wrap on a whole word. If unchecked, Note Pad will not wrap round the lines automatically.
It is used to convert extra words in the next line
Font – Font style and size can be changed using this option.
VIEW
Status Bar – It is used to hide and unhide the status bar.
